Your answers are for your direction map

Information we collect

• Assessment answers, selected constraints, optional short-text responses, computed theme scores, and career directions.
• A random session identifier and private report-access token stored in your browser.
• Your Google measurement consent choice, stored in your browser so the site can remember it.
• Basic attribution such as UTM parameters, Google click identifier, device category, and first-party funnel events.
• If you purchase: your checkout email, payment status, order identifiers, amount, currency, and report delivery status. Full card details are handled by Polar and are not stored by us.

How we use it

We use the information to score the free assessment, resume your session, create and deliver a purchased report, prevent duplicate fulfillment, provide support and refunds, understand the validation funnel, and protect the service from misuse.

Service providers

• Convex stores application data and runs backend functions.
• Polar hosts checkout, processes payment, and sends verified order events.
• OpenAI generates the optional report. We send assessment evidence, scores, constraints, and optional text—not your email, payment data, attribution, access token, or Google identifiers. API requests use store: false.
• Resend delivers the private report link and service emails.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Google, when measurement is configured, measures public landing-page visits and completed purchases according to your consent choice.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Storage and retention

Your unfinished and free result session is also stored in this browser so you can resume it. Purchased reports are intended to remain accessible for 90 days after generation; save or print a copy. Operational, payment, refund, and fraud-prevention records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Sharing and advertising

We do not sell your assessment answers or use paid-report content for targeted advertising. Google measurement, when enabled, is limited to the public landing page and purchase confirmation flow and does not receive your answers or report. Consent defaults to denied before the Google tag loads. If you decline, advertising storage, personalization, analytics storage, and sending user data for advertising remain denied; Google may still receive limited cookieless measurement pings. The questionnaire, results, and private report pages do not load the Google tag.

Your choices

You may leave optional text fields blank. You can clear local browser storage to remove the device copy of an unpaid assessment. To request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, email support@ikigaicareertest.com from the address used at checkout. Some payment or compliance records may need to be retained. When Google measurement is configured, you can change your choice at any time through Cookie choices in the footer.

Age and security

The service is for adults aged 18 and over. We use high-entropy private links for report access, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not forward your report link to anyone you do not want to access the report.
